Method
What we publish, how we check it, and what we leave out on purpose.
How a record is made
- Acquire. A scheduled job fetches one source at a time and stores the response unchanged, with the time.
- Validate. We check the shape, units and currency. Anything that fails is rejected and the reason is recorded.
- Project. Accepted data becomes offers and observations.
- Gate. A source is published only when its licence and owner are recorded. Everything else stays unpublished and is listed as unavailable on the sources page.
- Serve. Pages read published data only. They never call a provider live.
What a price is
Every price has a basis: on-demand, spot, reserved, capacity block, marketplace, or quote required. A quote-required offer shows no price. It is never shown as zero.
What we saw
Availability is one of available, limited, unavailable or unknown, with the time it was checked. Unknown stays unknown.
How we know
- Official source: the provider's own price page or API states it directly.
- Corroborated: two independent sources agree.
- Source claim: a third party reports it, or a provider claims it without a checkable page.
- Candidate: a signal worth watching, not shown as a fact.
What we leave out
There is no single best score and no ranking. We do not scrape a source whose terms forbid it. Prices here are listed prices, not quotes.
