- Google reports 98 per cent carbon-free energy in Finland in 2023 and a 22-year agreement supporting life extension of the Loviisa nuclear plant.
- Cooling
- Seawater from the Bay of Finland is used for cooling, and a heat recovery link with Haminan Energia is planned to cover about 80 per cent of local heat demand.
Operating since 2011 on the site of a former paper mill. A September 2026 Google post announces EUR 13 billion of Finnish investment including new facilities at Kajaani, Muhos and Vaala; those sites are not yet separate records because no capacity or permit details were found.
