- Waste heat recovery with Fortum is central to the plan, with the company projecting it could cover about 40 per cent of heating for the district heating network when fully operating.
Microsoft says building permits are in hand for all three Helsinki-region campuses for phase 2. The revoked crushing permit concerns site works only, and we do not know whether it was reissued.

- Microsoft's April 2026 statement says it holds building permits for the second phase at Espoo, Kirkkonummi and Vihti. (source)
