- A 2019 report says Google buys 100 per cent renewable energy for its Dutch data centres.
The Tweede Kamer page lists it as one of three existing Dutch hyperscale data centres but is undated. No MW figure from a primary source; a second phase was reported under way in 2019.
What we checked
- The Dutch parliament's data centre page counts Google at Eemshaven among three existing hyperscale facilities, alongside Microsoft and Google in Wieringermeer. (source)
- In June 2019 Google announced a EUR 500 million Eemshaven expansion and a new Agriport site, with no MW figure given. (source)
