- The programme says the site already has adequate electrical connections and so adds no extra grid congestion.

- Waste heat is to serve about 2,000 homes through WarmteStad, and no surface or drinking water is used for cooling.
About 1,800 GPUs are planned; no MW figure. Completion is expected in 2027 with full operation by early 2028. The funding sum differs between sources (about EUR 200 million).
What we checked
- A September 2026 programme update says the Dutch AI Factory supercomputer of about 1,800 GPUs will sit in an existing Eurofiber data centre on the Zernike campus. (source)
